After my GEŽ 3.2 Cu. Ft. Super Plus Capacity Washer Model#: WBSR3140DWW gets done with a load I have noticed that if I move the basket it sounds as if there is still a substantial amount of water left in there! I noticed this as I reached into get something out of the very bottom & have been checking it every so often. Is this normal? The basket is very sluggish to move manually (again, I noticed it when trying to retrieve an errant sock) and it sounds like there is a whole lot of water under there.

I've also noticed that the clothes don't seem to be getting as clean, some of the darker clothing seem not to be getting all the soap rinsed out or something. It agitates, spins, fills with water (I've lifted the lid a bit to check at different times in the cycle). And other than the fact that it is almost constantly in need of balancing, it seems to be okay. I only worry because I can't afford a major repair. Is this something (hopefully) small that I can take care of now and save myself trouble in the future?

Thanks!

Mine does the same thing as far as water "being left in the bottom" after the washer finishes it's cycles. Mine did that from day one. The business of the soap not getting rinsed out of the darker colored wash is due to the soap powder not being fully dissolved in the wash cycle to begin with. If you use cold water in wash cycle you will definitely get this. To combat this I put soap powder in first, then put warm water in tub about an inch or so to let melt the powder, and then continue with the cold water. I wait until the water is at least half way up the tub until I put clothes in. That solved my problem. I also rinse my darker clothes twice in cold water to thoroughly remove any "unmelted" soap powder. Either way works.
