Hello,

Boiler has water temperature of 180 and no pressure indicated on gauge.
No heat in house.
Could it be air line, expansion tank, ciculating pump or other?

Thank you

It could be all of the above. I would start with the circulator to be sure it is running.

Thanks for qick respnse

Trying to decifer if I need circulating pump or if air in line.
Pump is hot with little vibration. Opened returned valves and no water is coming out.
Open vent by baseboard,no air or water coming out.
Bioler pressure gauge still 180 and no pressure.
Does the boiler need pressure for water circulate?
Does water still circulate without pressure?

Could there be that much air in lines that water will not circulate?

If you have a pressure gage, it should be around 12 lbs of system water pressure.

I am aware the pressure should be 10-20 pounds, but can it be that there is no pressure because of air in the lines, or because the circulating pump may not be working?

And again, the circulating pump is warm with little vibration. Thanks.

Do you have a automatic pressure valve and a stop valve on the input water line? Air in the circulating line will expand when heated and cause blow off valve to release water. If input stop valve is closed or pressure regulating valve is failing, no make up water can enter the system. Hence no pressure.

Thank you very much. I will look into it.

Could be all the above
Need to know more about your system
Hot air baseboard circulators??
