I've tried the nature's miracle spray - urine gone--help - I'm honestly ready to give her up - but I love her--

My 6 year old, 11 pound Jack Russell female Twinkie is a pain in the you know what. She likes to do both as well - inside and outside. I used to beat myself up over it and take her out a lot. Yell, scream, punish her, etc. That worked for a little while but then she got stubborn and would only go inside period. Well, I solved the problem once and for all. She has her own room. I put a long 8'x3' piece of clear plastic over the carpet. Then I put down some old washable throw rugs. She goes there when she does not go outside. She used to use my bedroom throw rug right beside my bed to pee on when she'd get irritated at me for not giving her a treat, etc. Now she just goes in her room. Yes, I pick up the poop and put it down the potty with toilet paper. I wash the rugs in hot water and lots of detergent on a very regular basis.

Not the best arrangement in the world, but I wouldn't give her up for the world. Where could I find a wonderful dog who sings and dances, who happily greets me in the morning wanting HER cup of coffee, who hides under the covers when I have the heating blanket turned on hogging the bed, and other endearing activities? Priceless but a pain in the patooty to be sure.

You may want to try a product called "Unique Pet Odor & Stain Eliminator" by Unique Manufacturing, 5778 Lamar, Arvada, Colorado 80002 800-221-3259. I could buy it locally until the store went out of biz. It was about $11.00 for 32 oz spray bottle. That stuff can eliminate skunk odors and pet odors out of carpeting. That is the best stuff I've ever had and I've used everything over the last 30 years for dog urine odor. It does have a money back gurarantee also. Great stuff to put it mildly. I would put it also in the wash with the rugs and no more stinky rugs.

Good luck with your little patooty!
