Hello,

I have an approximately 5 year old house. Each of the bathrooms have a sink built into the counter (the sink and counter are one large piece of porcelain, it appears). The overflow hole on each of the sinks have a plastic "washer" that is becoming cracked. It appears as though these were put on and caulked into the overflow hole to keep them in place. I would guess that the inside of the washer is about 3/8" in diameter. Does anyone know how I can replace these? The faucet is a delta, but I am not sure what the mfg of the sink/counter is...

Thanks,

Chuck

Sorry Mc but haven't seen this washer before, any chance of a pic?

See attached pictures of the "washer"... it fits into the overflow hole on the sink.

That was quick, thanks. Can't say that I have ever seen one of these come like that from the factory. How does the overflow look without this piece. Prossibly a previous owner caulk this in to make it look better to him. To me it looks like a PVC side discharge inlet for an above ground swimming pool. Got any pool supply stires near you, might be worth a look.

The picture is blown up quite a bit, so the hole in the washer is actually about 1/2". The previous owner caulked this washer in into place. When you remove the washer, it looks like the hole was drilled... very roughly.

Sounds like he wasn't a big DIY guy. What material is this sink, cast, fiberglas, stainless, culture marble?

It is culture marble...

Now I'm really leaning toward pool parts. Cultured marble just has a slightly rough looking hole and he just didn't care for it.
