Gas furnace has an intermittent electronic ignition. It kicks on for about two minutes and then shuts down. Could the problem be the limit switch? If not, what do you think the problem could be?

Most newer furnaces will have a diagnostic light built into it. Give us a make and model number and we can help you.

Check the simple stuff first. Is the filter clean? Are all the vents in the house open? If these items are OK then it might be time to look at the diagnostic LED as therinnaiguy suggested.
