OK so I'm a 17 year old male turing 18 in three months and I'm dating a 14 year old freshmen girl turning 15 in 2 months, I was wondering weather an intimate relationship is out of the questions? For example kissing, holding hands the works I understand the age of consent in Washington is 16 and ia understand sex under 18 is wrong as well, but does that mean she jail bait? And if are parents are OK with us dating is it still legal?

As long as your relationship isn't sexual I'm pretty sure you'll be fine.

And if you do have sex with a 14 year old I just might have to hunt you down and teach you a lesson.

If at any point you piss her off, she could easily say that you had an inappropriate relationship with her and get you into a lot of trouble. Think with the big head, not the other.

HUmmmm 18 dating 14 is not OK in my book. Now, if you were 25 and she was 21 then no problem. The difference is how much prison time you get for rape?

While I have to wonder what attraction a 14 year old would have for a soon to be 18 year old, there is nothing illegal about dating. Especially if the parents are OK with it.

But it does mean you have to be EXTREMELY careful that it does not get physical. ANY sexual content beyond kissing and hand holding, can get you in trouble. Yes she is jail bait until she turns 16. Even then, you could still be in trouble because of the age difference.

But the fact that you asked the question leads me to believe that you are genuinely interested in this girl so as long as you both remain fully clothed and keep your hands away from "private parts", you will have done nothing illegal.

Well thank you all so mush you have added a much needed side to this. After talking to my parents and some of my friends and not wanting to believe them you have pushed me over the edge in a good way I do now relive that we have very little in common and I think she was mostly after the hole my boy friend is 18 thing and I'm sure that she was thinking mostly sex and I was too so I decided to end it since then I have found a new girl friend that is 16 and is a senior myself being an old junior I think that this is abut as close as I can get to my own age me and her have much more in common and spend much more time together already. The OP stated he was 3 months from 18 and the girl 2 months from 15. Therefore, she will turn 15, one month before he turns 18. So the age difference will be one month less than 3 years. Just simple arithmetic. Do you need a calculator that calculates age differences? If so, post in the computer software forum

The reason it didn't help is because your question was vague and unclear. But the information I gave you was VERY accurate. As I answered in your other post, you will not find any documentation that refers to the age differences when dating since nowhere is dating regulated by law. Its only sexual relations that is regulated by law.
