I recently get my SSN and I want to know how to file a form 1040X to amend my ITIN that I used in a previous tax return. I was looking for information about this but I did not find out how to amend the ITIN. Please I need your help.

Call 800-829-1040 (this is IRS help line for Individuals).

The SSN will be sent to the IRS automatically. The IRS will then substitute it for the ITIN you used.
