Not a company car. I bought it new. All of them are limited to 108 mph.

Was assuming it was limited to a speed that made a differnece, had one that was limited to 80 mph.
And honestly, no one has any reason on this earth driving at a speed that fast.

Thanks for your answer. 108 mph is ungodly fast, isn't it.

Generally speaking, most vehicles have a built in limiter. It's called fuel cut. The purpose is to keep the vehicle speed within the normal operating parameters of it's design for safety reasons. Most vehicles become unstable at higher speeds due to several factors including but not limited to driver experience, suspension design and tire selection.
There are ways to get around the fuel cut for some vehicles, but changing that could void your insurance policy.

I not sure you should mess with the thing. Why do you need to go faster than 108mph? If it has the kph switch for an electronic dash, put it on kilometers per hour and that will give you a higher number to look at if that is the thrill you are seeking. I don't understand why you would need to go any faster though.
