Hello, what does 28,000 a year figure out to be hourly, based on a 40 hour work week (possibly 45) Thanks!

It depends how many hours you're contracted to do in a week!

If you're on a 40 hour week it's almost 13.50

However, if you're doing a 70 hour week it's only about 7.70!

Unless this is some strange salary based question? Lol!

A regular 40 hour week results in 2080 hours per year. You divide the annual salary by 2080 to get your hourly rate. Your answer is $13.46. Remember if you are an hourly paid employee, anything over 40 hours a week gets time and a half.
