I have a 1991 Honda Civic that my son let sit for about 45 days without starting, we went to start the car and it would not start the battery was dead took it to shucks and they charged the battery and brought it home put battery in car and still nothing will not start no lights or horn, radio etc car is dead silent, does any one know what might be the problem?

. Clean battery terminals and cables.

. Check ignition switch.

My gut is that something is still wrong with the battery--you likely need a new one.

Thanks will try that and see what happens, car was starting fine and running fine then once we let sit car will not start not sure what is going on but will try your suggestions.
