I rent. There was an old in line water filter hooked up to the kitchen sink which I have never used. I decided to take it out so I could have a sprayer in the sink instead. I turned off the cold water under the sink and uninstalled the filter. The faucet doesn't have the piece under it to connect the sprayer, so I connected it where the filter connected to the water line. Turned the water back on and turned on the faucet and there is only a drizzle of water coming out. Tried the hot water and got the same thing! But I never even touched the hot water! I disconnected the hose and still got a drizzle! I have turned every knob possible in every way possible and I don't know what to do to fix it! Please help!!

OK , you can't just hook the sprayer into the line where the filter was, that interupts the flow to the faucet. Reassemble everything the way it was when the inlline filter was in place, except leave the filter cartridge out of the filter.
