My son attempted to flush uncooked carrot sticks down the toilet (so he wouldn't have to eat them!) and now the toilet isn't flushing properly. Plunging didn't work to solve the problem. Anything else we should try?

OK this is not a conventional fix but it has worked with other items that did not belong in the toilet. Get a trble hhoks from a fisherman and tie a 2' piece of 90 lbs line to it. Jold the line in one hand and don't let go , flush the toilet, pull back on the line once the toilet has stopped filling. May have to do this several times but I think you'll eventually get your fish, I mean carrot.

And if the carrots aren't biting today, purchase a closet auger,(see image), break those little suckers up and flush them away. Good luck, Tom
