It was about a child and her family moving into a home that was haunted by a little girl, in the end they found an old doll in a well on the house property that belonged to the ghost. I think the ghost may have had a little dog. Any help would be appreciated.

I agree with Purukivel, it definitely sounds like Child of Glass which is an old Disney film.
