I am pregnant and neither I nor the father want him to be involved. I would like to know what kind of contract I can have him sign that would ensure he could not change his mind down the road.

There is no such contract because it would be against public policy, therefore illegal. However, if he is in agreement with this arrangement, you could suggest that he place $50,000 in escrow for a term of 18 years. If he never contacts you or the child, he gets the money plus interest. If he does contact you or the child, it's yours. He pays all costs and taxes.

Agree, there is no such contact, as the bio father, he can come back in latter and ask for such rights as he should have.
Also God forbid, but if you or the child at some point and time would have the need for public assistance, he can be held liable by the state to repay some of those charges.
Also there are issue of the child's right to a share of his estate in latter years.

Just backing up what the others have stated... there is nothing you can sign to that effect.

You can draw up a contract (I really like George's idea) but no Family Court is going to agree to it. So it would not stand up in court. The main reasons are as Chuck stated. If you need to apply for public assistance the state will want you to file for child support.
