Not to be a smart aker... but you disconnect it! I mean you simply shut the water supply, flush the toilet, remove the water from it (use small cup) and then disconnect the clamp located at the back base of the toilet and the two set screws at the base of the toilet... You should definitely be able to see it in the room with the toilet... BUT... why are you removing.. Are you replacing with new one? Is this a complete rip out of the entire saniflo toilet, sink, pump, etc.. Need more information please.

Hi, yes I want to remove it, it hasn't worked for ages and when it did it was very noisy! Want to replace with a normal toilet (a lot more work I know)!
It's all got to go...
Thanks

Well, if the whole shooting match has to go then you will remove toilet as instructed above, and then disconnect the electrical and cut out the pipes connected to unit. Note that the smaller discharge pipe of the saniflo system has a check valve in it and when you cut this line there will still be sewage in that pipe for the vertical portion of the pipe. After that, cap the fittings at the main drain line and cap the vent pipe (if present). You may be able to use some of the vent piing for the future work... will depend on distances and whether was done right to start with... hope this helped more!
