I am in my final months as a college student and have about $1500 worth of tuition I need to cover. About 2 years ago I made the mistake of applying and maxing out credit cards. I am on a program now to pay them off, however my credit is poor and I am having trouble finding a loan to help cover my tuition and some living exspenses. If there are any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not from the US so I can't name drop any companies who will be able to offer you this. However, if you "Google" what you want for bad credit, then there will be lists of companies who can help, but before you do, are there any other ways you could clear this instead of getting a loan? Not only will you be paying this off forever and at a stupid interest rate (as you won't be getting any special rates here, that#'s how these type of companies make their money!! ) but also you are climbing into more b=debt and when's enugh, enoguh??

can you take a loan with a family member or close friend? Can you sell some stuff to raise some cash or even take on a little P/T job?

Please think hard before getting yourself into any more deep water... I suppose this is how sometimes it starts.

Good luck!

There are few choices, esp with bad credit, Family and friends would be the first stop.
