My parents don't want me being friends with my best friends anymore. They think I'm obsessed with her when I'm not! I'm getting really annoyed debating whether I should be friends with her anymore. What should I do?

Listen to your parents. In the meantime maybe you can reason with them about your friendship and the good points.

IN SHORT - Listen to them. I wish I would have listened to my parents more... now that I am 27 I realize my folks just had my best interest in mind.

As a young adult it really is hard to realize you don't know very much... as unique as you are as a person we are all human and go through the same emotions and feelings.. your parents included

In most cases bffs don't out last family.

One more thing -- if your parents see you listening to them and growing as a person, the chances of you making your own decisions will be greater. If you don't push the issue to hard about your best friend, while listening and showing your parents your growing and making good choices, chances are you will find a balance
