My son's mother has droped off my son at my door step 8 months ago.She told me she can no longer care for him. She has custody of him. I was paying child support for 11 years.My Son is 11.She said she would go to court to change and stop the child support orders.Iam sure you all know she has done nothing.For what I have read I have to go and file for emergency tempory custody. Then what do I do? Here is a little history My son has been with me for about 8 months.I found out where his mother was and played her game.It took me 2.5 months to get him into school because I need her to do this.She has custody.The school know that she is a bad seed.The school is happy he's is with me.The child support office has sent me ugly paper for child support but he (son) is with me.They are trying to collect for her under the current orders.I have to put a stop to this all.I need some advise what to do...

Why did you wait 8 months? The day after she dropped him off you should have been at family court filing for a change in custody! Didn't you have an attorney prepare the original agreement? Why didn't you go ask them?
