I have a Georgia class c driving license and I am moving to Illinois and what do I need to have to get my license transferred. Some one told me that you have to take a test again to get the license. What I need to know is what do they ask for when they transfer it?

You will need your birth certificate, you will need some proof of your new address, ( utilitiy bill, copy of lease) and your old drivers license.
As long as your old license is not suspended or revolked, you will do a vision test, supply them the needed material, and they issue you a new license ( for their fee)
