My Aunt's son left a Trust for her in the amount of about $550,000.
He is now deceased and his lawyer pays for all of my Aunt's bills and expenses from this money. The trust was originally set up to have half of the remaining funds go to my Aunt's son's friend and the other half to an undisclosed charity. My Aunt is very displeased with her son's friend.
Upon her death, my Aunt desires for the remaining money in the trust, to go to me, her niece. She is of sound mind. Can this Trust be changed to enable my Aunt to leave this money to me?

Most likely NO, since it was done to do what the original writter wanted, not what the others want.

But you can hire a good attorney and have it reviewed if possible.

Hi,
I agree with the other answer of "no", probably not.
But, I would talk with a lawyer, who has experience with Trusts, Wills, etc, and get a Professional opinion. Could be that having a court hearing might get what you want. Please see a lawyer.
Best of luck.
