I have completed a shower stall. However, I now need to install a faucet similar to the one in a tub. I already have a mixing valve that supplies water to the shower overhead. Can somebody tell me about this valve, faucet and its installation?

What brand faucet and did you buy it new? If you completed the stall do you still have access to behind the wall where the mixer needs to be placed. Got your pipe running up to the drop ear elbow and shower head?

The other side of the bathroom/stall is garage, so I can access the pipes if I need to. Currently, the shower head and the mixing valve is Delta brand.

Thanks.

OK here are the basics. Your valve has three opening for pipes, hot incoming on the left, cold incoming on right and awter to shower head on top. You have not told us about your existing supply lines so I don't know if this will be copper sweat or galvanized or what. The poip that comes out the top rises to about 70" and is attached to a drop ear 90 degree elbow nailed to a cross stud for bracing. Coming out of the elbow is the chrome supply to the shoiwer head and then the head itself. Do you need more info?
