My 92 civic ex died on me last week so I replaced the coil and it started working again.
Two days later, after driving it for about 150km, it died on me again... this time it happened while I was driving.
Can anyone help me with this?

Test/replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM), which is inside the distributor. Remember to apply silicone grease to the back of the ICM, before reinstallation.

What if I just replace the whole distributor?
Apparently the distributor was re-assembled a couple years ago (I just bought the car and it came with the service records).
Could it more than just the distributor? I just don't want the car to die again in mid traffic.
Thanks

That should definitely solve the problem. Be sure to install a genuine Honda distributor. Here's how to do the work yourself:

Txgreasemonkey... I also have the same problem, and I read your faq. But I'm having trouble reaching the screw securing the rotor. What exactly do you mean by "hit the starter a few times"?

Have the starter motor rotate the distributor shaft just enough to provide access to the screw securing the rotor.
