At this point, you should take a qualatative blood test, you can get this done at your local hospital, and its not much more expensive then a hpt, yet more accurate. However these can still be wrong, as they give only positive or negative results. So if you hcg(pregnancy hormone) levels still aren't high enough to register, you'll still get a negative result, though you may be pregnant. No matter what the test results are, you should definitely see your doctor about this. 3 months is far too long to go without having a period, and no explanation. Your doctor will probably give you an internal exam to check for possible signs of pregnancy. They should also order a quantative blood test. This test is the most accurate test that you can take, as it measures the exact amount of hcg in your system. If the numbers are high enough to cause reason to suspect pregnancy, the test will be repeated within a few days, to see if the numbers are doubling as they should in a normal pregnancy. However, pregnancy isn't the only reason that you could be missing periods, and seeing your doctor asap about the situation is the best idea. Good luck, and please update us when you find out what is going on.

Yep, its true. Often times we think that the urine tests that they give at the doctors office are stronger/better tests. Really they are the same tests that you get from the store and take at home. So, if you are getting a negative on your test at home, you most likely will on an office test too. Blood tests are the next step.
