I remember watching this cartoon when I was really young. I'm talking mabye seven or eight years old. It came on a channel that I cannot remember.
There was this young man, probably about 15-16, and he was on this alien planet with his family. He makes friends with this cute, furry, little alien that has all these limbs. There are even bigger ones that have like four legs and round bodies.
His base on the planet, I think is taken over by terrorists or something like that. He goes out onto the planet with his oxygen mask on and he takes his little alien with him.
His oxygen is running low, and he finds these weird plants that close up during the night, and he and the alien sleep in one, because they produce oxygen.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I have looked everywhere and have found nothing.
