Ilma and Emland, it sounds like a skin condition called Keratosis pilaris. This skin condition appears as dry, bumpy skin behind the upper arms, thigh and the legs. Keratosis is also a hereditary condition, and it's common in teenagers. It may remain for years, but may fade slowly with age. It's known to get worse in the winter and tends to subside in summer time. Keratosis Pilaris is harmless and can't be cured, however it can be treated. Ilma, please have your parents take you to see a doctor for a proper evaluation.
