Can anyone help me. I have a 2 year old and my pregnancy was textbook. Since then over the last year I have miscarried 3 times - at 4.5 weeks, 5 weeks and 6 weeks. I am now 7 weeks pregnant and had a scan 3 days ago that showed a heartbeat. I have been peeing lots and have had nausea tis time but yesterday these symptoms reduced and I had some pink mucus on wipinf followed by some pink watery discharge. I have a pad on and there has ben none since although I am so scared to go and look.

I phoned the miscarriage unit and they cannot scan me until Friday as it has to be within 7 days of my last scan. The nurse said she wasn't too worried at what I was describing and just to wait and see but I have already had 3 miscariages in the last year and am so scared that my gut feeling is right and that it is happening again.

Has anyone had similar experiences and had an OK outcome or do you think as I do that its happened again. I thought the chance of miscarriqge fell to 2-5% after a heartbeat was seen on the scan?

Please help anyone - so scared.

Lie down and elevate your feet. Ask someone to help with the little one and wait on you for a few days. Quit running around and take life as it comes.

Its possible that it is just early pregnancy bleeding, some women have this. I personally had a small amount of bleeding in the beginning of my first pregnancy, and was ultra worried about it. It turned out that it was just from the fact that I had sex, and your vaginal area becomes engorged and sensitive with the extra blood flow during pregnancy, and that was what caused the small amount of bleeding. My son is now three, and I have another nearly 8 month old boy after him, both healthy and fine. However, it is wise to keep a close eye on this, esp since you have had repeated miscarriages this year. If you begin to experience painful cramping, increased bleeding, and/or passage of tissue, you need to get to the doctor/hospital. In the mean time, try to rest as much as you can, try not to stress(easier said then done, I know) drink lots of water, and hang in there till Friday. Good luck, and please keep us updated.
