Okay so me and this guy were going out for 4 months and we broke up. I really love him and he knows that but he won't fully let me go. He keeps me just close enough to not take me back. He says he wants to be friends, but he knows that its hard on me since I love him and I want to be with him. When I tell him that I don't think we should cause its making it harder on me then he just says that he will wait, but then he calls me. Its so hard to let him go when he's talking to me and being sweet. I want to be with him and I am the one who screwed up the relationship but not purposely. I love him and I don't want to let him go, but he doesn't want to be with me so I need to let him go, its just hard when he texts me and calls me. What I am trying to ask is do you think he wants to be with me or that I just need to let him go as hard as that may be. Oh and by the way most the time I am the one who AFTER he texts first like in the morning... and then I text back and after awhile he stops... text him and say things like why are you not texting me back? =( and stuff along the lines of why aren't you texting... I don't know what he wants. I love him and I would do anything for him but he has made it obvious we are through... but why does he keep giving me signs? What should I do.. move on and get over him or try and work things out?

Sounds like he is too immature to handle the situation. I would stop texting and talking to him and see where that goes. He just doesn't know he should let go and what damage it is doing fooling around like that. He doesn't get it, sweetie.

Just ignore him for a while, see where that goes.
