If it is wood furniture you can take all sorts of things to make it look old. Try a hammer, a metal chain, a blowtorch, dirt from your yard, Old English furniture polish. The possibilities are endless. Just what type of "look" are you striving for and what type of furniture is it?

The most effective and expedient furniture aging is done by starting a daycare at your home.

Something you ould do would get some sandpaper and rub it on the furniture or get some steelwool or something like that:)

I found the advice on the following site to be particularly interesting and perhaps useful.

As twinkiedooter asked previously, I too would like to know what type of "look" are you striving for and what type of furniture is it?
