I am trying to loose weight. I was told in order to loose weight fast I can eat a lot of grape fruits. As well as drink water. Have one sold meal per day before 7 PM. Whenever I feel hungry just snack on grapefruit and water. Also workout 2 times a week for 1/2 hour. How safe and effective is this? Please help me?

Not much. My biggest weakness is sweets. I sometimes take a day and over indulge with sweets, however sometimes I won't touch any again until another 2 weeks or so. I am not a big eater to be honest. I sometimes have too much carbs.

You need to get some fiber and some good foods too or you could end up with diarrhea from too much citrus fruit.
When I eat grapefruit to lose weight I never eat more than for a day.
You should try cutting down on the sweets.
I was doing the weight benches for a month and lost 8 pounds.
Then the next month I was moving and didn't have time to eat.
I started eating 0NE doughnut a day for the two weeks I spent moving and
I gained 12 pounds back.

If I am working out three times a week for 2 hrs each day how long should it take before I start to see some results?

Vary your workouts so you work the upper body some of the time and the lower body some of the time and general workouts some of the time. Walking up to five miles a day will also cause weight loss.

You will be making muscle so don't worry about weight as much as appearance. How long to notice? I'm guessing two months. Your face will be one of the first places that people will notice.

If you are taking in one meal a day and the rest is water + grapefruit, chances are, you'll be seeing a doc before you see results.

People think grapefruit is the "weight loss fruit" but really it's a myth. Grapefruit is believed to affect the metabolism of insulin in the body, but again, this is not yet proven.

In order to lose weight efficiently, see how much calories you're taking in.

Before I go further to tell you a better way to lose weight, how old are you?

You can eat a grapefruit with each meal but you need to eat.
If you take certain meds grapefruit interferes with some so you have to check about that too.
