I need to talk, why does my life keep being so up and down financially

Mine has been doing that for years. This is a way for us to learn here on earth and some of us have a hard time and others have an easy time financially. Have you ever been jobless and homeless? Been there, done that. Have you ever had $30,000 cash and could buy whatever you wanted? Been there, done that. We unknowingly and unwittingly control our own destinies whether we realize it or not.

I have a friend who has money ups and downs that are quite frightening. Her opinion is, "it's just money, or a paper representation of it and it comes and goes. Nothing to be scared of."

She also told me of a particularly difficult time. Her brother had a good analogy that helped her. He told her that she was rowing her canoe of life up a river. She kept running into falls and rapids. She just rowed like crazy but could not get past certain sections. He pointed out that there were multiple side routes to be taken, she could get past the hard parts by going around them.
