I'm trying to find the name of a movie that I saw as a child in the 80's to no avail.

Kids move into an apartment building --and I forgot what happens that turns all the different apartments into different parts of a wonderland .

They have to of course save this plant /tree that is taking over the apartment building,,

There is a real dwarf/ actor in the movie who plays a man in the apartment,, later he gets turned into an elf ---- the same dwarf actor was later in "willow" as the village warrior,, not as willow (warwick davis) .

There is a scene in the movie where the father dances by himself to "summertime blues" .

There's an older woman in one apartment . The dwarf in another. The family in another .

Anyone have any ideas ? It would be much appreciated . Thank you so much !

I don't know the name of the movie you're looking for, but I have a suggestion to help you find out what it is. If you go to IMDB.com (Internet Movie Database) you can look up the actor from that movie and the movie Willow and it will list all the movies he's been in. From there you can look up those movies listed under what the actor has been in and the site should provide enough information for you to figure out which one you are looking for.
