First you need to give us more info. Like what processor and how much hard drive space. You also need to explain what exactly is slow. Is itusing the Internet or loading or running programs or what? If it's the Internet, what type of connection do you have? If its running programs, what programs?

Most people get a computer and try to see how much stuff they can operate on it

-- it is a good idea to clean house and get rid of junk -- try this program

CCleaner download and review - remove junk files from SnapFiles (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/ccleaner.html)

If you are upgrading from Windows XX to Windows Vista, the very first thing you need to do is to read the "System Requirements" on the Windows packaging. If your processor and available services and resources do not meet the needs of the core system you are killing yourself.

Your system will be page swapping memory until the cows come home.

Did you match the requirements prior to installing the software? You may be starving on system resources, have a badly fragmented disk (Run De frag).

Please get back to us.

In addition to what was said by other contributors, keep in mind when you are reading system requirements for software like this, the requirements shown are the bare minimum. For instance, for anything but the Basic O/S, Vista requires a minimum of 1 GB of system memory. That does not mean that the software will run at its peak performance with 1 GB - quite the contrary. Personally, I would never try running a Windows O/S with the minimum system requirements, but always try to keep a margin above what is specified, especially with respect to system RAM.

Second, keep in mind any other drain that there may be on these system resources. For example, if you have an on-board video with your computer, the video memory is typically taken off the top from your system RAM, meaning that the memory left over for other programs including your O/S is reduced by the amount of that video RAM.

Hellow Try Some Of These Might Help You A Lot..

1.
When System reboots Ready To use go to MSCONFIG for Details Visit the Link

How to use MSCONFIG in Windows Vista: NetSquirrel.com (http://www.netsquirrel.com/msconfig/msconfig_vista.html)

And in the Start UP List Just Uncheck the Programms U Don't Want To Use on the Start UP..

2.
Delete the Programms Which U Often Use..
Go For Disk Clean UP..
