We are not supposed to answer homework questions... :(

Can you tell us what you do know yourself about this problem and we can help you get over the parts you don't understand. But we can't just give you the answer.

What do you know about what makes plants grow? Where does the energy come from? What are the molecules that the plant uses to photosynthesize and what substance does the plant make from those molecules? Where do the raw materials for photosynthesis come from?

Do you know any of this? If not, read a short summary of photosynthesis. That should help a lot.

Good luck!

I do know all about photosynthesis however I think I know the answer. We were wondering whether it is due to the intake of all of the substance key to photosynthesis
