This is my 4th pregnancy. My 1st gave me my gorgeous 2 year old and the 2 subsequent pregnancies I miscarried at 5 weeks and 6 weeks without seeing a heartbeat. I am pregnant again and have had bad nausea ever since conception which didn't happen the last 2 times. I also have seen the heatbeat and am just a few days short of 7weeks.

I am obviously terrified that I may miscarry again and this morning I woke up and my nausea is a lot less than yesterday although is there still a bit. I am so scared the baby has died again. My 1st pregnancy I was sick form 6 weeks till about 14 weeks solidly. Can anyone help me? Do you think it has happened again. I know reduction in symptoms is a sign of missed miscarriage. Please help.

I totally understand where you are coming from. I had a baby. Then got pregnant again, felt sick then the sickness totslly disappeared. My doctor said it was one one of those things but I just didn't feel pregnant anymore. I had a scan and it showed no heartbeat and the embryo had died. I elected to pass it naturally although it was another 4 weeks until it passed. 4 weeks after that I was pregnant again with horrendous morning sickness and used EFT to get rid of it (I have now written a book about it Cure and End Morning Sickness and Nausea in Pregnancy (http://www.end-morning-sickness.com)) but it took a lot of soul searching to let go of the sickness because it was an emotional blanket that everything was OK.

My advice to you.
1) Morning sickness can vary day to day depending on what you have eaten tiredness and stress - it is normal for it to feel a little better but it will probbly feel bad again.

2) my midwife told me that if you see a heartbeat the chance of miscariage is much much lower - less than 2% so that's good for you - esp as last time your baby didn't develop that far

3) Try to listen to your instinct (not your fears , this is hard) if you really 'know' things aren't right try and get another scan)

If I can help in anyway please email me [email protected]

I have a website for ladies wanting to get rid of morning sickness Survive Morning Sickness - nausea and vomiting in pregnancy (http://www.survivemorningsickness.com) - but I guess right now you want to keep you morning sickness as reassurance that all is well.

Good Luck

Thanks Claire - you made ,me feel better. It came back with a vengeance about 2 hours ago and is as bad as ever! You are right though - like it for now as it reassures me! Crazy eh?

Thanks for the support.
