My husband and I have been married for 4 years but been together for 11 years we have three children between us one girl and two boy my oldest girl is not his blood child but my two boys are .we had been talking about him adopting our daughter.
She has no idea that he is not her bio-father only cause he had been there for me and her from the time I found out I was pregnant so I had no intentions on telling her the truth , her biological father is no where to be found ,he's on childsupport but hasn't paid one cent sense she was born , and hasn't even seen her once . In the past I have tried to get him off childsupport but was told it wasn't allowed.. my question is how does my husband adopt our child. Do we need her biological fathers permission .

First who signed the birth certificate . If its your husband now than you should have no prob with the adoption. And I believe that if you haven't heard from the real father for at least 7 years he no longer has any say in what you do

You will have to go to court to get his rights taken away to allow an adoption of a hew partner. They will contact him first ( actually your attorney will) to get him to sign it over first, if he will not, there can be a hearing before a judge, but if he does not want to, it is harder
