I have twin girls that are 4 months old. Their father that I have been friends with for 10 years is threating to sign his rights away on them so he doesn't have to pay me child support. He has 4 other children with 2 different girls. I honestly don't care if he signs his rights away because I can't force him to be a father to my girls. I was wondering if he does sign his rights away will the child support office make him pay me back child support?

Him threatening you that is he is going to sign his rights away so he can avoid child support - ha ha ha. That is not going to work. He is still responsible for child support. If you got married and your husband wanted to adopt your children and your ex agreed, then your ex is released from the payment of child support (but not back child support).

He sounds like a bully. Do not fall for his threats.
