House is 30yrs old black PVC "pipe" new drain hole for new tub is almost 2"to the "left"of actual drain in "hole".. I know just cut the pipe and move it .... but it looks like the connection we have to go back to ..to cut is embedded in the cement slab.. so any one have any "great" ideas... of course everything is the big U shape so it's not like just reconnected pipe...

If you use a Schedule 40 (glue type) cabled Geberit (http://www.chicagofaucetshoppe.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=1663) or Mountain (http://www.absolutehome.com/web/catalog/product_detail.aspx?pid=197646&cm_ven=Shopping.com&cm_cat=Bath&cm_pla=Mountain%20Plumbing%20Products&cm_ite=Mountain%20Plumbing%20Products-Tubs-197646&cid=1E1F15497F6CB6A12F821E63D86D01DA) Waste and Overflow you can use offsets in the overflow to make it meet up with the existing trap.

Yep, ask HD rep for an "offset" type fitting. They are popular for toilet flanges, but they also come for other fittings. Perhaps you'll find one that works for your situation.
