Ugh it is 6:30 pm and I just woke up. My days and nights are backwards. I'm 4months and I sleep all day and stay up all night even when I try to get it normal again I cant. The baby sleeps at night like he's supposed to I know because I don't feel any kicks but when I sleep during the day I frequently get woke up by toes or w.e in my ribs and kidneys! Is it just my reaction to avoid the pain of the kicks <the baby is really high because my uterus is odd.> how do I get back to normal?

You are going to have to suffer it out unfortunately. You will have to get your days and nights straightened out just as us non-pregnant folks do.

Do you drink caffeine? Well, that should stop around 2 in the afternoon... no exercise in the late afternoon or early evening.

You are past the point where it is hormones keeping you tired, that ends around 12 weeks, so now it is a matter of will power.

I don't drink any caffine because it is bad for the baby the only caffine I ever have is in chocolate and that is rare. I don't exercise at all because I'm not supposed to the only thing close to it I do is play fetch with my dogs. And my morning sickness still hasn't gone away but that is a whole other issue in itself. I tried doing what my boyfriend does and staying up all night and day but I got too tired and I felt that it may be dangerous for me to do that with the baby because I pass out a lot now too.

Good, I am glad you are off caffeine, although it actually poses very little danger if any, that remains unproven.

I would suggest you just start waking up an hour or two earlier a day then, going to bed an hour or two earlier each night until you get yourself straightened out. Maybe discuss this with your doctor/midwife at your next prenatal appointment to see what he/she recommends for your particular situation.

I went to bed at midnight tonight and was actually tired so I thought maybe I was getting back on track but I woke up again at 4:00 am and now can't get back to sleep urgggh I'm just so agrivated with it. I go to my dr tomorrow so maybe she can give me something to help me sleep better when I do sleep.

I went through that with my pregnancy throughout my whole pregnancy since I was about 4 months My doctor told me to get Unisom to sleep but it didn't do me any good unfortunately it's a part of being pregnant... My sleep is now getting back on schedule now that my baby is 4 months and sleeping through the night.. I know how you feel..
