Hello! Our Kenmore dishwasher 15953 was leaking. We fixed that. Now it stopped... dead... with about two inches of water at the bottom, just touching the heating element. My husband believes that if he could get the reset codes it would be helpful. Any suggestions? The last time we had a repairman out he replaced the heating element and the control panel (said replacing one required a new panel) the thing still didn't clean until my husband replaced the check valve and hose. Needless to say, we're reluctant to call Sears to repair it this time. Thanks for your help.

IF the door switch is bad, nothing will work. You have to remove the panel to get to it. YOu can jumper around it for test purpose only. Verify that you do have power to it. i.e. the breker has not tripped
