Hi, I have a new two stage variable speed lennox furnace, G61V-60C-091. Due to some heating problems right after the install, the company I hired also installed a new white-rodgers programmable thermostat 1F78.

Unfortunately even with the new thermostat, I'm having the same problem. At 6:15am, the heat kicks on correctly and should go from the overnight temp of 64 degrees up to the 6:15am setting of 72 degrees. However, after about a half hour the heat shuts off and the temp is only around 67 to 68 degrees.

I have had the company back out to my place to fix this, and they say everything appears to be working correctly. Is there a cycle time on these furnances that would make it shut off before the set temperature is reached?

thanks,
joe

The furnace should run until the thermostat is satisfied, you may want to look at the program in the thermostat, it has capabilities of changing the temperature up or down four times a day, Good luck. Mike
