I watched this movie when I was little and I have no clue what it was called, it's really frustrating because I really enjoyed it and I want to watch it again. It was something about a princess I think though I could be wrong:confused: and there were these goblins or something that lived in this other world I think and I remember the castle flooding with water and the girl following this yarn string to find this boy she loved or maybe it was for something else? I'm really sorry it's so vague but I haven't seen it in about 10 years and it's really blurry but I'd be really grateful if someone could tell me what it was or just gie me some clues? Thanks.

I remembered very well the story goes like this: this young girl was living with her grandmother. She went to school and met a little boy who always tease her hair which is red color. They always fight but later become a good friend. As they grown up, they have feelings for each others. Their journey of growing up together have really impressed me and leave a deep memories in my childhood. Can anyone remember what is the name of the film? If not mistaken, Danielle Steel written this book before.
