One of my nipples became hard and it hurts
What is it what to do?:confused:

Go to the doctor and get it checked out. Not to scare you, but men can get breast cancer too. Men also have breast tissue, just not as much. Hardening of the nipple and pain can be a sign of this disease. So, hurry and make an appointment as soon as possible.

That being said, it could also be other, less serious things. So, make the appointment, but don't drive yourself crazy worrying yet. Do you exercise or do physical work? If so, maybe the nipple could have rubbed against your clothing irritating it. My fiancée had that happen once. His nipple wasn't really hard, but it was very sore. It could also be infection, the list goes on and on.

But, because there is the possibility of breast cancer, don't hesitate to see a doctor. Sadly, many men don't see doctors quickly about nipple changes. They think that it is a "women's cancer", but that is not true. If it is something serious, going to the doctor right away could be very important.

Good luck! Also, the doctor will want to know how long it has been like that, if it has changed, etc. They may do a biopsy or imaging tests. I hope you are OK.

It may sound weird (I didn't even know it was possible until I got it) almost a year ago I had the same thing, it ended up being a pimple growing ON MY NIPPLE... it hurt really bad anytime anything touched it, including my shirt. It took about 2 weeks for it to go away.
