I have two older computers. Can I take the memory out of one and put it into another. One has 128 and the other 64. If so, how do I go about doing this without totally screwing it up... thanks.

You can if it's the same type of memory, and the one you want to move it to has an open slot. Most computers come with 2, 3, or 4 slots for memory, and judging by the amoutn you have, I would guess that it's either SIMM sticks, or SDRAM DIMM sticks. You can run the memory test at Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com (http://www.crucial.com/) to have it check out what kind of memory you have. As long as it's the same type, it should work, although some motherboards are picky about speeds. The faster memory is supposed to be backward compatible, as long as it's the same type, but this isn't always the case.

In order to move it, you just have to power everything down, unplug it, open up the case, make sure you touch something metal to discharge all static electricity... then find the ram, pop it out, and open up the other system with the same method, and pop it in.
