Greetings all! It's Christmas Eve, trying to finish up some last min laundry before Santa arrived. Kenmore Elite Washer Super Dupper Heavy Duty King Size ;) (model# 23032101) approx 3 yrs old, extended warranty expired about 2 months ago (isn't that the way it happens! ). Washer went through entire wash cycle and 'sounded' like it spun. I went to put the clothes in the dryer and they were still soaking wet. It didn't spin. I messed and messed with the agitator and rocked and hand spun the tub and FINALLY got it to spin. I washed about 3 more loads and it didn't spin a couple of times again and the other times, worked like a charm. Anyone have suggestions:confused:

Thanks for your time!!

Laura

I did some online research and it sounded like it was the drive clutch so I went to the appliance parts store, bought the $10 part and replaced it. Went to put it back together and my hubby and I couldn't get the cabinet clips on (I recently had shoulder surgery so have no strength to push to hold while he clips) so I called a local repair company. They not only charged me an exorbitant rate ($150 vs reg svc chg of $55) to come out to put the back/clips back on, they tried to tell me that my pump was leaking (NOT! ) for an additional $100. Passed on the pump, had them replace the clips and back panel. Apparently spun empty but as soon as a load was washed, it wouldn't spin again. Messed with it to attempt to get it to spin out my clothes but won't spin again and NOW, it won't even do anything like there is no power (yes, I checked the breaker and brought a lamp over and tested the plug, it works). I give up! I'm trading in my Kenmore for something else. Don't have the time or patience! Good Luck to anyone else!!
