What are some ways to get over a breakup? And things to do?

To tell you the truth there's no easy way to get over a break up sorry the only thing you can do is maybe hang out with your friends keep yourself busy from thinking about them. From experience, I was in a relationship for 2 yrs. When he left me 4 another girl who didn't even want him. He used to abuse me and used me for sex but, I finnally stood my ground to him and put a end to it all, even thou it was hard I did it. It took me a little less than a yr. to get over him completely but, after that I met this guy who changed my world completely and now were trying to have a baby together, so just give it time and before you know it your life will change fro that 1 guy that you are really meant to be with. Yep check stickys on the relationship board. For a start you need to:

1) Put all reminders in a box away out of sight
2) Start no contact - maybe you want to let the ex know or not, up to you. "I think its best we don't speak again."
3) Get some plans - something to look forward to. Maybe a music festival, cinema, travelling, a holiday
4) Ever wanted to do something? Nows the chance, go to the gym and get ultra healthy and get a great body. Exercise is a great stress reliever and makes you look good to :)
5) Don't mope around at home, get out and about with friends and family
6) A breakup isn't the end of your life, life goes on. Ask other people what they did and about their ex's, maybe they can help you with your recovery

My advice is to be normal what I do to get over it is I stat wit other guys and make him jealous but just listen to yourself you need to be independent don't let him bother you because now he thinks he has control over you but control with other guys depends on why he broke up with you.
