My g/f is a british national. I'm an american surving int the untied states Air Force stationed overseas where I meet her. She is currently pregnant with our/my child and we are not married. We planned it but didn't go through.Long She is moving to Alaska, My question is do I have rights if she goes or not because I won't be there for the child's birth in Alaska since I'm in england. Is there any legal advice for an unmarried father to be to be parted from he unborns birth 1000s miles away? By doing this would she get in trouble? If she give's birth in Alaska I won't beable to see our baby born or raise my child here with me because she left and planning on/is going to Alaska. I'm so in need of advice and guidance. Is there any hope? Anyone out there with advice contact me at REMOVED FOR PRIVACY

First after the child is born you sue in family court for a DNA test to prove you are the father, you can ask for visitation and of course arrange to pay child support.
Now getting the visits, do you have the money to fly there to see the child?
Have you considered moving to Alaska?

Unfortunately you have very few rights during the pregnancy... if she wants to move, she can. I understand that you are in the Armed Forces, so moving to Alaska may not be an option to you. But is it possible for you to ask for a transfer? There are some great bases in Alaska, Fort Elmendorf and Fort Richardson, just to name two.
Unfortunately this is what happens sometimes when we conceive children out of wedlock.
