I have no idea what has happened but this morning when I turned the dishwasher on, I noticed that I did not hear any water running. The dishwasher was on and it was going, but there is no water coming into it. It worked fine a few days ago. According to my 13 year old daughter, her "loopy" brother (15) put too much dishwasher detergent in it. He put it in the second saop holder along with the first one... I do not think that was the problem. Anyway, the washer turns on but there is no water coming into it. Any suggestions?

Thank you very much and feel free to email me with any suggestions. Hopefully someone can help me:)

Verify that the water is turned on. Next, check the float switch. Raise it up and down to verify that it is not stuck. Now check the water valve. Does it have power to it? Is it opening up?

Dear Doug:

Thank you very much. I have a feeling that the water was turned off. I finished typing my question and then was telling my mom about what had happened. I told her I would probably have to spend money on a plumber and I could not afford to do that. This morning, I was going to show a friend what was going on with washer and the thing worked fine. I have a feeling my 15 year old turned the water off to play a joke on his 13 year oldl sister... either that or miracles really do happne on Christmas.

I have printed up your reply just in case he is innocent and it happens again. Thank you again:)
