Greetings. I have used Pur Water Filters, the faucet type, for years. I recently bought a Corrego Traditional Series Kitchen Faucet, and cannot find an adapter that would let me install the filter on the faucet. The problem is that usually the threads at the end of the spout are usually right at the end. In the Corrego faucet, there is a hood at the end of the faucet, and the threads are so high up that none of the adapters work. Where can I get an adapter that will work, and how do I ask for it? Thanks.

Can you remove the aerator?

Take the aerator and the Pur with you to a good hardware store. Show the clerk the fittings and ask him for an adapter that will joint the Pur to a fitting that would fit the aerator. I don't think Corrego made their own aerator so it shoiuld be off the shelf but maybe hard to locate. Worst case scenario contact Corrego and ask for an adapter.
