We have a new tenant that has been harassed since the first day she moved in. It all began when her moving truck blocked an entrance to an alley for 30-45 minutes. There were 3-4 cars parked in front of the building. The street has only public parking in front because there is a city park right there. The alley had another entrance which the lady who confronted her used without any problems... she just wanted to make her point. She actually told the tenant that she needed to walk around the park and find the car's owners and request that they move their cars. Now less than one week later we are still getting phone calls every other day about something stupid from the guy who lives upstairs. He has now resorted to knocking on her door and letting her know every time he has an "issue". She told him to stop knocking on her door. I advised her to call the police the next time he comes to her door. **My question is this... if our tenant leaves because she is now so uncomfortable to live there... do we have the right to sue him?** He called tonight while were at dinner and I told him that if he wants to complain to call the Condo Association and leave us alone. He called me a lazy B****. Can my tenant get a restraining order even though they live in the same building? Our previous tenant that lived there for 1 1/2 years finally left in the middle of her lease because she "couldn't take it anymore." PLEASE HELP!

Who owns the building, you said we have a new tenant, are you the owner ? The owner needs to issue a warning to this tenant not to cause trouble, of they could be in violation of their lease and subject to being evicted.

But yes if they keep it up, call the police for harassment, call several times, and then a order of protection if it still does not stop.
