My spark assembly keeps getting a white film which causes lockout how can I resolve this?

It is a byproduct of the gas you are burning. Many people are having this problem. Make sure the pilot is adjusted correctly and that no chemicals are around the furnace to cause the problem to get worse. Hair spray, hair salon products, drier vents not going outside,laundry soap and softener etc can also help this to become a bigger problem.
